She has done her graduation (MBBS- 1985) and post-graduation (MS Anatomy- 1994) from Govt. Medical College, Kottayam. Soon she joined Government service as a tutor in Pathology(10 months) and later as tutor in the Department of Anatomy in Government Medical College, Alappuzha. Later got promoted as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Additional Professor (2009) and worked in different government medical colleges. She retired from Govt. Medical College, Kottayam as Professor and Head of Department of Anatomy in May 2017. Then joined as Professor in the Department of Anatomy, Believers Church Medical College, Thiruvalla (2017). She is also a member of curriculum committee, IQAC (institutional quality assurance cell) and DEAN of NMC affairs of BCMCH. Recently she has been posted as Vice Principal of BCMCH (May 2024)
