Dr. Parvathy P.R. is a dedicated medical professional specialized in MD Pharmacology and currently working as Assistant Professor at Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla. She earned her MBBS from Sree Uthradom Thirunal Academy of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, and pursued an MD in Pharmacology at SRM Medical College and Research Centre, Chennai. She completed her Senior Residency in Pharmacology at Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur, Kerala. She is actively involved in medical education, mentoring students in pharmacological practices and patient safety while contributing to pharmacovigilance initiatives. Her publications include "Negative Effect on the Antioxidant Potential of Cilnidipine in Breast Cancer Cell Lines - An In Vitro Study."She has received several accolades, including 1st Prize in the Materiovigilance e-poster competition conducted by Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, and 1st Prize in the Pharmacovigilance e-poster competition conducted by Trivandrum Government Medical College, Kerala. Additionally, she has completed professional training courses such as the WHO’s Introduction to Pharmacovigilance and Research Methodology and is a member of the International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT).
